The vir tú Experience.

To complete this unique wellness experience:

  • We invite you to enjoy our sauna and steam rooms available in both the ladies' and men's locker rooms.
  • Each treatment room is equipped with a sound dock, compatible with most ipod/phone models, providing our guests with the opportunity to further personalize their experience with the music or sounds of their choice.
  • We offer free childcare for our guests receiving services.  Please ask when you make your appointment for hours of availability.
  • Each guest will receive a complimentary pass to our fitness center, with full access to jacuzzi, pool, and exercise equipment.  

At vir tú, we strive to offer the best care for our guests. We ask that you make yourself aware of our guest guidelines described below. They have been carefully crafted to ensure you enjoy a truly relaxing and tranquil visit with us.

Preparing for Your Experience
Please bring with you a completed client questionnaire, accessible through the guest guideline drop-down menu. This will allow you more time to relax before your service begins. If you cannot print and complete the form before your appointment, a form will be provided upon check in. Please permit yourself plenty of time before your service begins so you can change into your robe, and begin to relax. We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before your appointment is scheduled to begin. 

Spa Attire
Comfortable attire is suggested. Robes and slippers will be provided for your convenience. Secured lockers are complimentary and are located in the men's and women's lounges.

Therapists
All our massage therapists and estheticians are New Jersey State licensed and specially trained at vir tú. We have both male and female therapists available. Please indicate at time of booking if you have a preference.

Booking Appointments
A credit card is required at the time of scheduling to hold appointments that are booked by 2 or more guests arriving at one time and/or multiple appointments (3 or more) booked by any one guest on a given day. Large parties or groups of 3 or more scheduling multiple appointments require a 50% deposit and payment in full 48 hours before arrival. Payment is non-refundable for large spa parties and a 20% gratuity will be added.

Payment Information
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Spa Finder Gift Cards or Gift Certificates. We also accept cash and vir tú gift cards. We do not accept personal checks at this time.

Gratuities
Suggested gratuity guidelines are 15%-20% for services. Gratuities are at the guest's discretion and much appreciated for outstanding service. We cannot process credit cards, debit cards or gift cards for gratuities, as these transactions may only be processed for the exact amount of services and/or retail purchases. For your convenience, there is an ATM located in the building. 

Punctuality
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. When booking services at vir tú, your appointment is scheduled with a therapist, whose time is allocated exclusively for your scheduled treatment. We understand lateness does occur; however, please understand that if you arrive late for a scheduled appointment, your service will still end at the previously scheduled end time and you will be charged the full amount for your service.

Cell Phones
To preserve the healing tranquility of the spa, we respectfully request that all cellular telephones be turned off when you enter vir tú.

Cancellation Policy
You will be telephoned the day before to confirm your appointment. As a courtesy to our clients and staff, it is vir tú policy that all clients give 24 hours notice of cancellation. We understand that occasionally you may have to cancel an appointment with us; however, we will require a credit card to hold appointments for guests who repeatedly cancel appointments without giving proper notice.

Refunds
We offer a vir tú credit for all returns within 14 days of purchase. A receipt must accompany your return. Skin care products are not returnable.

Series, Packages & Programs
Series Packages are discounted and must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

Gift Cards
Gift Cards are available for purchase in-house, at all Virtua Hospital gift shops or on-line at virtu4u.com.  Gift Cards are sold for a monetary value and not per service, as pricing is subject to change.
